Air Fryer Easter Chicken Thighs Honey Glazed Easy Weeknight Dinner

Ingredients
  

  • 8 chicken thighs bone in skin on
  • ½ cup of hoisin sauce
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • sliced green onions or chopped cilantro
  • sesame seeds

Method
 

  1. In a bowl, whisk together hoisin sauce, honey, grated ginger, sesame oil, and minced garlic until smooth.
  2. Add the chicken thighs to the bowl and mix well to cover them evenly with the glaze.
  3. If using the oven, arrange the coated chicken thighs on a foil-lined baking tray and roast at 375°F for 20 to 25 minutes.
  4. For air fryer cooking, place the glazed chicken thighs in the air fryer basket in a single layer and cook at 380°F for 22 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 180°F.
  5. To make in a slow cooker, place the chicken thighs in the cooker, cover, and cook on low for 4 to 5 hours.
  6. Finish the dish by sprinkling sliced green onions or chopped cilantro and sesame seeds on top as garnish before serving.

Notes
