Air Fryer Egg and Cheese Toast: Quick Delicious Recipe

This Air Fryer Egg and Cheese Toast is a quick and delicious breakfast option that combines crispy toast, a gooey egg center, and melty cheese. Ingredients
  

  • 2 slices of thick bread (sourdough or sandwich bread)
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, etc.)
  • 1 tablespoon butter (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: fresh parsley or chives

Method
 

  1. Preheat air fryer to 375°F.
  2. Lightly butter one side of the bread and press a well into the center.
  3. Crack one egg into each bread slice.
  4. Sprinkle shredded cheese around the edges or over the whites.
  5. Air fry for 6–8 minutes, until the whites are set and cheese is melted.
  6. Season with salt, pepper, and herbs. Serve hot.

Notes

  • Use thicker bread to prevent sogginess. For soft yolks, air fry 6 minutes; for firmer yolks, 8 minutes. Customize with bacon bits, hot sauce, or avocado slices.
