  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • Cooking spray

Method

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk.
  3. In another bowl, mix the flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Dip each chicken breast into the egg mixture, then dredge in the seasoned flour, pressing lightly to adhere.
  5. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and place the chicken breasts inside in a single layer.
  6. Spray the chicken lightly with cooking spray on both sides.
  7. Cook in the air fryer for 10 minutes, flip the chicken, spray again, and cook for another 8-10 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the coating is crispy.
  8. Remove and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For extra crispy chicken, double-dip the chicken in the egg and flour mixture before air frying. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheated in the air fryer to restore crispness.
