Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound (454 g) raw shrimp peeled de-veined
  • Vegetable oil or spray to coat shrimp
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1.25 ml) garlic powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • lemon wedges
  • minced parsley and/or chili flakes optional

Method
 

  1. Coat the shrimp evenly by tossing them in a bowl with vegetable oil or spray, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Place the shrimp in a single layer inside the air fryer basket.
  3. Cook the shrimp at 400°F for 8 to 14 minutes, shaking and turning them gently halfway through cooking to ensure even crisping.
  4. Remove the shrimp from the air fryer and transfer to a serving dish.
  5. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the shrimp, then sprinkle with minced parsley and/or chili flakes if desired, and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Cooking time may vary based on shrimp size and air fryer model. Use thawed shrimp for best results. For quick thawing, soak shrimp in water until softened.
