Total Time 13 minutes
Servings: 2 servings

Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets (5–8 oz. each)
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder or 1 teaspoon fresh garlic, minced
  • Optional garnishes: black or white sesame seeds
  • Optional garnishes: green onions, sliced

Method

  1. Stir together honey, soy sauce, and garlic powder until well combined, then split the mixture in half.
  2. Place the salmon fillets in a dish and coat with half of the sauce. Refrigerate and let marinate for 30 minutes.
  3. Heat your air fryer to 400°F.
  4. Put the salmon into the air fryer basket and brush the remaining glaze over the fillets.
  5. Cook the salmon in the air fryer for 7 to 8 minutes, adjusting the time based on thickness.
  6. Serve immediately with the leftover sauce drizzled on top and garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions if desired.

Notes

  • If your air fryer doesn't have a preheat setting, heat it at 400°F for 5 minutes before adding the salmon. For extra flavor, try adding red pepper flakes, fresh or powdered ginger, or a squeeze of lemon or lime juice. Black sesame seeds and sliced green onions add a nice texture finish.
