Air Fryer Honey Mustard Salmon Recipe Easy and Delicious

Ingredients
  

  • 2 salmon fillets (5-8 oz. each)
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons whole grain Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Method
 

  1. Mix honey, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, smoked paprika, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Coat the salmon fillets with about two-thirds of the marinade and let them sit for 30 minutes or until well covered.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F.
  4. Place the salmon fillets into the air fryer basket and brush them with the remaining marinade.
  5. Cook the salmon in the air fryer for 7 to 8 minutes depending on thickness.
  6. Remove the salmon carefully and drizzle with any leftover sauce.
  7. Serve immediately while hot and garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

  • If your air fryer lacks a preheat option, simply run it at 400°F for 5 minutes before cooking. For a spicy touch, add red pepper flakes to the marinade.
