Generously season the chicken thighs with salt and black pepper.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together honey, fresh orange juice, Dijon mustard, and chopped garlic until well combined.
If possible, place chicken into the marinade and refrigerate for a while to infuse flavors, but it’s fine to cook immediately if short on time.
Turn on the air fryer and preheat it to 200°C (400°F) for about 2 minutes.
Arrange the chicken pieces in a single layer inside the air fryer basket and spoon some marinade over each piece. Lightly spray the top of the chicken with olive oil.
Cook the chicken for 8 minutes, then open the air fryer and brush the pieces with additional marinade before cooking for another 7 to 8 minutes, until the edges turn golden and the chicken is fully cooked.
Once cooked, scatter the sliced green onions over the chicken.
