Ingredients
  

  • 3 vine tomatoes
  • 2 teaspoon olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon Salt or more to taste

Method
 

  1. Cut each tomato lengthwise into halves and carefully trim the edges by slicing a small triangle from both ends.
  2. Combine olive oil and minced garlic, then generously brush this mixture over the tomato halves.
  3. Sprinkle salt and Italian seasoning evenly over the tomatoes.
  4. Arrange the tomatoes in a single layer inside the air fryer basket and cook at 180°C (356°F) for 8 to 12 minutes, adjusting time depending on size.
  5. For richer roasting, extend cooking by an additional 1 to 2 minutes if desired.
  6. Serve the roasted tomatoes finished with fresh basil or a light drizzle of basil oil if preferred.

  • Keep an eye on the tomatoes during cooking to catch them when they are wilted and slightly shriveled for the best texture.
