Air Fryer Salmon Lemon Garlic Satisfying Easy Weeknight Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 4 6 oz salmon filets
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp celtic sea salt
  • 1 tsp fresh cracked pepper
  • 1 lemon sliced into thin rounds
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp Italian herbs

Method
 

  1. Place the salmon filets in a large bowl and pour the lemon juice and olive oil over them, making sure each piece is well coated.
  2. Sprinkle the garlic powder, sea salt, cracked pepper, and Italian herbs evenly over the salmon.
  3. Lay the salmon pieces carefully in the air fryer basket without overcrowding, allowing air to circulate freely.
  4. Distribute the thin lemon slices over and around the salmon in the basket.
  5. Set your air fryer to 400°F and cook the salmon for 10 minutes for a slightly pink center.
  6. Increase cooking time to 12 minutes if you prefer no pink in the middle, or 14 minutes for well-done or thicker fillets.
  7. Remove from the air fryer and serve immediately for a delicious, healthy meal.

Notes

  • When slicing the lemon, placing a flexible cutting board underneath can catch the juice, making it easier to use fresh lemon juice right away.
