Ingredients
  

  • 4 pieces chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs or 680 g)
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese (about 100 g)
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (about 100 g)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Method
 

  1. Pat the chicken dry thoroughly with paper towels to prep them for coating.
  2. In a shallow dish, combine Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper to create the crust mixture.
  3. Press each chicken breast firmly into the breadcrumb mix, ensuring an even coating.
  4. Set the air fryer to preheat at 400°F (200°C) and wait for about 5 minutes.
  5. Place the coated chicken pieces in a single layer inside the air fryer basket and lightly spray them with olive oil.
  6. Cook the chicken in the air fryer at 400°F (200°C) for 10 to 12 minutes, turning the breasts over halfway through for even crisping.
  7. Let the chicken rest a few minutes after cooking before serving to allow the juices to settle.
