Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into strips
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1½ cups heavy cream (or half-and-half for a lighter version)
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for extra heat)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 packs ramen noodles (discard seasoning packets)
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • ½ cup sliced green onions
  • ½ cup shredded carrots (optional, for crunch)
  • 1 soft-boiled egg, halved (for topping)
  • Sesame seeds & nori strips, for garnish

Method

  1. In a bowl, combine chicken strips with soy sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, smoked paprika, chili powder, cayenne pepper, and black pepper. Toss to coat evenly.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine. Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using. Let the sauce simmer gently for 5 minutes.
  5. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and sauce is creamy.
  6. Cook ramen noodles in a medium saucepan according to package instructions. Drain and toss with sesame oil.
  7. To assemble, divide noodles between bowls. Top with spicy chicken strips, creamy garlic sauce, sliced green onions, shredded carrots if using, and soft-boiled egg halves.
  8. Garnish with sesame seeds and nori strips.
  9. Serve immediately and enjoy your comforting Fiery Chicken Ramen bowl!

Notes

  • Adjust cayenne pepper and red pepper flakes to control the heat level. For a lighter sauce, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half. Soft-boiled eggs can be prepared ahead to save time. Store leftovers separately in the fridge for up to 2 days.
