A cheerful snowman with a black hat, a red scarf and an orange carrot nose, worked with six threads. The body is a big block of white, so keep your knots even to make it look smooth.
The scarf row is the one to watch, because it sits right between the head and the body.
How to use this pattern
This pattern is 15 knots wide, so cut 15 base strings, one for every knot across. Then cut one leading string for each of the 6 colors in the thread list. The busiest color is A (DMC 939, 89 knots), so give it the longest leading string.
Tie the rows from the top. Odd rows are tied left to right with forward knots, and even rows right to left with backward knots. The guide shows each thread's path, ticks off finished rows and walks you through the band one knot at a time.
This pattern has never been knotted on real thread, and the colors on screen are close matches to DMC floss, not exact ones. Compare them with your real skeins before you start.
